Lions Clubs International District 322B2, based in West Bengal and covering regions including Howrah and Kolkata, is a dynamic and service-driven arm of the world’s largest service organization, Lions Clubs International. Committed to the global motto *“We Serve,” the district has, for over 25 years, carried out impactful community projects addressing critical challenges such as hunger, vision impairment, childhood cancer, diabetes, the environment, disaster relief, and youth empowerment. With dozens of active clubs under its umbrella, the district has spearheaded initiatives like the Food for Life program, offering daily meals to the underprivileged since 2003, and a Cardiac Care initiative supporting heart surgeries for economically challenged individuals. Vision screening camps, blood donation drives, and disaster response efforts have further strengthened its role as a pillar of humanitarian service in the region. The district’s leadership, including its current Governor and a strong team of dedicated Lions, has been instrumental in shaping its legacy. Notably, District 322B2 is home to International Director Lion Raj Kumar Agarwal, whose rise from founding Governor to global leadership symbolizes the spirit and excellence of the district. As it celebrates its Silver Jubilee, the district stands proud—not just for its history, but for the lasting impact it continues to make across communities.
